Following Monday’s update from the Government and a meeting with representatives from clubs, we have decided to suspend the SKA season until further notice. This decision was not taken lightly, but all present were in agreement that this was the best course of action.
This decision incorporates all planned fixtures, the end of year social, and the AGM. Alternative arrangements will be made for the AGM to go ahead remotely. This decision also includes the international training weekend in April.
We are strongly recommending that clubs cancel planned training sessions until advice changes. The SKA is aware that there may be financial implications for clubs and that clubs may have questions about league placings, promotion and relegation and internationals. The Management Committee will provide updates in the near future.
We invite clubs to contact us with any concerns or to discuss any concerns or complications that arise from this decision.
With regards from all at the SKA.
