The SKA is pleased to announce that Graham Box, the well-respected former GB international player, coach, and all round super-star, will be leading a Level 1 coaching course in Glasgow on Sunday, December 1, 2013. The basic aims of the course are to encourage more people to become involved in coaching korfball, and to provide them with all the skills and knowledge that they will need to become an effective assistant coach, in either an adult club or a school setting. The course material includes the basics of both the coaching process (“how to coach”) and the various skills and tactics used in entry-level korfball (“what to coach”).

The one-day course will run from 10am to 5pm on Sunday, December 1, at Langside College in Glasgow. The full cost of a place on the course will be £50, but all applicants will be eligible for subsidies of up to 100% based on need and their likely contributions to the future of Scottish korfball. Anyone interested in attending should send an email giving their name, age and full contact details (email and regular mail addresses, mobile / telephone numbers) as soon as possible to Nigel Cooper at
