IKF updates the rules of Korfball

The International Korfball Federation has released seperately updated sets of rules and guidelines for the games of indoor and outdoor korfball. The new rules will come into effect on September 1st, 2014. But fear not, mighty korfers… the rules have not changed too much, and Scottish korfball will hopefully continue to be just as much fun as ever!

Given the IKF’s recent announcement, the SKA feels that now is as good a time as any for all players, coaches and referees or would-be-referees to set aside a little time and ACTUALLY READ THE RULES. Links to the relevant PDF’s are given below.

The SKA will also be running two referee’s workshops over the coming months (one specifically for beginners, and one for all SKA referees) , so watch this space for details.
