The SKA will host a short development workshop for qualified referees at 11am on Saturday, October 12, 2013. This event will form part of the referees’ development programme that was initiated last season. The one-hour practical workshop is intended to develop and unify existing referees’ implimentations of the rules of korfball. It will be open to all theory-qualified referees that intend to practice in the SKL and Scottish tournaments over the next 12 months. It is being offered free of charge, with costs being met by the referee’s development fund that all SKA teams pay into at the beginning of the season. The workshop will take place in Westwoods Health Centre in Edinburgh, immediately before Edinburgh City’s Beginner’s Tournament (12 noon – 5pm).
