Scottish Schools Open Korfball Championship

To coincide with the International Korfball Federation’s Year of Youth project, the Scottish Korfball Association will be organising its first ever School’s Open Championship in 2013.

The event is open to teams from primary schools all over the country, and is primarily targetted at P6- and P7-level children (aged 12 and under on the day of the competition).

Anyone interested in entering a team, or in volunteering to help run the event, should contact the SKA’s Development Officer for further details and entrance forms, etc. Even schools that have no previous exposure to korfball will be welcomed, and the SKA will do everything that it can to assist in introducing the sport to such schools.

The event will take place from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on June 15th, 2013, at Dundee’s International Sports Complex (DISC: Mains Loan, Dundee DD4 7AA).
