As we move into the final 2 weeks of the season, we wait with anticipation for the SKL Finals Day, where clubs will come together to play the final matches of the season in Edinburgh, followed by the SKA Annual General Meeting and End of Season Awards and Ceilidh.


Congratulations go to Edinburgh Mavericks 1 who have retained the SKL 1 title, with 2 wins last weekend making their lead unassailable. However 3 huge matches in the division remain on the season finals day with current 1st/2nd/3rd positions facing off in Edinburgh Mavericks 1, Edinburgh City 1 and Glasgow 1 respectively. Also in SKL 1 on Season Finals day, Edinburgh University 1, Dundee 1 and St Andrews University 1 will play with 5th/6th place still to be decided.


In SKL 2, congratulations go to Strathclyde University who sealed the title at the weekend ahead of Season Finals day. An additional match day is to come in SKL 2 on Saturday 6th April, with Glasgow 2 hosting Edinburgh Uni 3 and Dundee 2. Season Finals day will see the 2 Third teams of Edinburgh City and Dundee face off, and also sees Edinburgh Uni 2, Dundee 2, St Andrews Uni 2 and Strathclyde feature.

Following the matches, the SKA Annual General Meeting will take place in Greyfriars Charteris Centre, Pleasance, Edinburgh at 6.15pm. This will be followed by the SKA End of Season Awards and trophy presentations, and a ceilidh led by the Alan Crookston Ceilidh Band from 8pm.
